My first exposure to Grady McFerrin was an incredible poster I spotted a couple years back on Kathleen's Flickr page. "Art can change your life," it read. But along with the words was clearly masterful fonts and printing that made me absolutely weak in the knees. Tonight I went dashing into McFerrin's website for a fresh tour through his print making wonderland. What a treat!! The vivid, but washed over colors and gritty line details absolutely fascinate me. Luckily you can find McFerrin's designs in luxurious paper centric offerings from none other than Chronicle Books(Grady's section).
Love this artist as well. Bought his sticky notes and enjoy using them very much!

So awesome! I recently bought one of his journals — at Barnes & Noble of all places — and I love every page.

He has a great style. Modern but that layering that gives it a vintage look also. Love all the details....I see hours and hours of work. thank-you for sharing. Would look great on my beachy house walls.

Yay!! They look awesome. I love how you framed them up. I'll have to do some on paper.

Incidentally it was on the door side and I was standing right by the door. It took good 5 minutes before we managed to shift bodies enough for doors to open. A lot of fun!
