Art in Ashland was such a lovely experience for me. I enjoyed all four days and the 40 + people who came out to attend. It was stuffed full with piles of goodness, smiles, scraps, new friends, food, gems and laughter. This was the first time I have tried to put together an event with guest teachers and a more specialized forum.
It was a fantastic experience and I am forever grateful to those who have hosted me in the past. It was so rewarding and exciting. Once the dust settled I hav just been marveling at the vital, creative energy that was pumping through this little town!
The best part was of course seeing all the incredible artwork that came out of the event. (see more images from Pam, Amy, Kari, Christine, Romy, Leisel, Kathleen, or visit the Art n Ashland FLickr page.)We had our closing Cupcake and champagne soire at PRIZE here in Ashland. Here they are prepping up the shop for all of us wild artsy elephants in this lovely china shop.
Thank you to everyone who came out and made this event so special to me...And for those of you interested in next year- we are still considering dates. So please check back soon.
SUCH a fabulous event Anahata. Thank you. It will take me a LONG time to come down from this high! :-)

It looks like you've had such fun! Thanks for reminding me about Belize. I've been wanting to research that for a story I'm writing. It looks like a haven for an artist to be inspired.

I have had the wonderful pleasure of living within an hour of Ashland... and when I lived that close I would retreat to Ashland whenever I wanted to be recharged. I love the energy of that town. The energy alone would feed and nourish my soul.
