
He's done it again!
Olaf Hajek paints a whopping 16 (!!!) paintings while in South Africa over a period of only three months for his show there. I'm mesmerized by Mr. Olaf and his mastery, speed and whimsy!

As someone who has to make mostly uplifting artwork due to the nature of my business, I quite enjoy seeing Olaf go all the way moody in these dark and mythical images. It's refreshing to see art for arts sake in an era where so many artists have to consider future commercial applications.

Not to mention Olaf is just a powerful, modern-day painter that has earned the respect to choose any vantage point he can dream up. Beautiful.
