Before + After and such...

After a lovely and fast day of painting the office the first steps are done.  The former homeowners honey-yellow is gone and a fresh coat of clay blue is feeling good. Still waiting for a few more touches but happy with the days work!  Feel free to photoshop in a gorgeous pendant light above.  Haha!Here's the before corner.  Miss Zoe was so helpful and came over to creep around the room and paint with me...
And I did use Gitti's office inspiration afterall of course and put up a large version of "Enough is Enough" (original version) which has been replaced with "Floral Beautiful" here.
I painted this saying onto this piece as a reminder not to overwork, to just appreciate what is, or not to run in a guilt loop about things and of course the obvious of boundaries etc was a double win.  I'm really fond of it at the moment.  Ive also been whirling around in the cottage studio trying to get a bit more settled in.
And kitty-Magdalena has been very helpful!
