I am on day three after having my wisdom teeth removed. Seems like I should be better but my bottom teeth where so stubborn the dentist was nearly having a cuss fit trying to get them out. And considering i was sedated that's really got to stand for something since I can recall that part! Woke up today feeling worse than yesterday. But I'm proud to have it over and done with. I'm supposed to be getting some web design done for a new website launch coming next month. We'll see how I do on pain meds. This journal (coming next month) is kinda how I'm feeling I have to admit. I'm giving thanks for all those bites I took for granted over the years. But bless you Cream-Of-wheat! At least I have you, tomato soup and movies on demand...

I hope you'll feel better soon.

Ugh, I remember feeling like it took forever to recover from the simultaneous removal of four impacted wisdom teeth. I also remember insisting on eating spaghetti when I couldn't take it any more (it was barely an attempt). Have a delicious smoothie, feel better, and continue making me laugh with your adorable creations.

I recall having banana popsicles for a week when mine were removed... not sure why banana though (?) Maybe you'll find that some insane creativity will come from working on that web design...feel better fast.

UGH, I am so sorry Anahata! If it is -any- consolation, I tore my rotator cuff (right arm of course) in October and have surgery on -April Fool's Day-. Imagine all of that and no art work. (Do you feel better already)? :) Bless your heart. AND, this journal is my favorite yet, I must have one!
Hugs from Mt. Angel,
Sheila

I too am of the 4 wisdom teeth at a time variety and I remember eating vats and vats of mashed potatoes. It was 3 months before I could even open my mouth all the way to eat a sandwich, I feel your pain! Vicodin was my best friend, so was netflix and Jamba Juice. I hope your recovery is much quicker, in the meantime, milk it for all it's worth and hope that you might even lose a couple pounds (not that you need to).

It took me four days to feel remotely human again after mine came out. I have a photo from day 2 of me flipping, whoever had the camera, the bird. In the photo I am wearing one of those cold packs you generally see only in cartoons, encircling my head and tied in a knot on top. Super sexy.
Before you know it, you we be your old self and it will only feel like some bazar dream!
Love the journal.
