A lot of my artwork is built up using faces and portrait style focus and then I just build onto it using things from the environment or fashion to inspire the rest. This week I'm feeling feathers in a fresh way. I have some good old long ones I wear and I certainly need to expand my obsessive collection of earrings as it is! But even more I'm feeling a series of paintings or illustrations with beautiful feathered earrings! Here's some favorite finds close at hand here on the web. Gorgeous! I have feather earrings but they are not quite so fabulous. I might need to get crafty!
