I came upon some incredible new faces recently and I am soooo thrilled. That's really what I need when I am messing around. A person's face makes all the difference. This woman is particularly striking but most of mine are not. I like trying to make a mundane and plane face turn into something more fantasy like. Some of my favorites come from the most simple looking cabinet cards.

It looks great! You are right about the strong expression in her face. Again, I love the way you combine colors. The yellow in there, just lifts the whole picture.

This is beautiful and I like the message behind it. Have you seen the book, Tribal Fashion? I first found it at Anthropologie but it's available through Amazon, too. It features the most gorgeous photographs of an African tribe's painted faces and bodies (and with natural elements throughout their hair). It's sooooo inspiring!
