I will admit here that this artwork is absolutely what made me read Little Bee by Chris Cleave. I read it on the plane to Bali and really loved the screen play type action. It was sad and intense but I loved it. But now that I'm finished I can hardly let go of the book because I love the cover sooooo much. I've contemplated taking off the jacket of the hardcover book just to frame the pretty thing. The illustrators name is (Are you ready?) Roberto De Vicq De Cumptich!

I just picked up this book! I loved the cover as well. Can't wait to read it.

Wowzy wowsers! I'm loving your artwork, blog, and "mission statement" on AnahataArt.com. It's encouraging to "see" such a beautiful artist spirit...

My wife is reading this currently, which means I get to stare a lot at the cover. Thank goodness for excellent book cover design! I love how the reviews on the back are type-set too... almost like old-fashioned playbills or newspaper ads.
Love YOUR art! We have a commercially produced print in our bathroom we stare at everyday... "Be as you are!"

i've been considering reading this book too...solely based on what i've seen of the cover artwork!
