Our budding PaPaYa! bizz needs two more full time employees right now. I thought it best to turn to you fellow bloggers vs the local listings of not-so-friendly job listings. Maybe just writing it down here will get the stars aligned so that the right people land in our lap! So far we have been able to hire friends and the loved ones of friends. Currently there are 5 of us altogether. (But I am rarely out of my studio so I'm not sure I still count.)
Ashland-ers (We are in Ashland, OR) be on alert for folks you think might be interested in glittering mountains of cards, prints, & Love Letters. Also shipping orders, and all the production details involved in our product lines. Everything is still done by hand and we need coordinated people who don't mind a paint brush. It's a bit of a knitting circle at the warehouse and newcomers have to play well with others. We want people who are forward thinking, optomistic, somewhat detail oriented, reliable, and friendly. We do our very best to keep employees happy too.
If you or anyone you know might be a good fit have them email me at inspirationengine@yahoo.com.

Oh gosh ... what a dream job. Really makes me wish that I lived in OR. Good Luck with your search.

I know you are hoping to get a comment "Me. pick me!" But I am just another well wisher as I live on the opposite end of the country.
Sending good vibes your way!

Wish I lived there too. I just told my hubby I did not want to sell toilets for the rest of my life but GA to OR is not a very good commute. Best of luck finding the right people.

If they could just
get that THING fixed
like on Star Trek....?
The commute from Los Angeles
to Oregon
would make begging
" YES I WILL DO IT
--pick me pick me! "
so much easier
...sorry.
Hope you find some help soon !
Love,S.

Dang it! Now I'm wishing I'd picked Southern Oregon to live instead of way up north in Portland. I wonder how long it would take to commute....hmmmm. Oh well, wish you the best of luck finding someone great who's local. Now if you ever need anything done up here in Portland, just let me know. :D

I don't know if it's too late, but my sister lives in Medford, close to the Ashland side, and I sent her this link. I think she might really dig working with your crew. Her name is Melissa and is finishing up her Bachelor's degree at SOU. She's super bright and friendly with everyone she meets.
Great artwork BTW :)

Oh, if only we could bump California up a bit so that it was, well, Oregon!
